Fun in the Sun: Summer is Here!

For some of us, summer will be here soon. And for others, summer is just around the corner. It is important to have fun but stay safe for the few months of freedom. Here are some ideas and tips to do just that.

1.Go on a Road Trip: Take some friends and go on a day-trip somewhere in-state. It costs less than traveling to another state or country, but is still fun.

2. Stay Near Home: There are plenty of malls and stores around any town that are fun to go to. Also there are always movie theatres around. Some of the best action-packed movies come out during the summer. Plus, many companies have summer specials worth checking out.


3. Take a Plunge, Literally: Summer would not be complete without some water. Whether you live near the beach or your best friend has a pool, the fun is where the water is at.

4.Take a Plunge, Figuratively: Crushing on that cuties from school? Why not take a chance and ask that person out? It would be best to try it out at the beginning of the summer, too. If it works out, you have the whole summer to spend with that special person. If it crashes and burns, then you do not have to face that person at school the next day!

5. Spend Time with the Family: I know it sounds corny, but home really is where the heart is. You will be able to save money with your family activities, and it will be fun no matter what you do.
